The purpose of air showers is to stop pollutants or air from transferring from one area to another. Additionally, by keeping the environment apart and allowing for a gentle airflow, these devices help to preserve cleanliness and hygiene while reducing energy expenses and limiting the spread of pollutants and airborne illnesses.

Accumax India is a manufacturer of cleanroom air showers. Air showers' main purpose is to clear the surface of equipment and entrants of dust and other undesired materials. It is accomplished by blowing air that has been HEPA filtered at a face velocity of 6000 feet per minute. There are no contaminants of any kind, including organic and inorganic particles, in this air. Once the filtering process is performed, the air inside is circulated again.

Our air showers are made according to the requirement of the customers. Our standard model is made for 1 person usage which is perhaps the best way to prevent contaminations. Additionally, we produce larger models that may hold up to six employees simultaneously.

What are air showers?

An Air Shower is an enclosed chamber which is used to remove foreign/unwanted particles on the person walking into it. There are 2 doors, one is for entry and the other one is used for exit after the cleaning process is complete. This is primarily done at the time of entry or exit from clean room installations. The process is pretty simple, high velocity air is blown from multiple directions, directly on the person inside to effect dirt or small particles to fall off from the clothes. The air itself is cleaned using HEPA filters before it is blown into the chamber.
Air shower nozzles are specially designed to ensure air rotation in a tangential motion to allow full body dirt removal instead of just frisking the body, which in sub-standard products is a major problem.
The positioning of exit nozzles to allow dirt particles to leave the internal chamber is another important aspect of air showers. Otherwise, the entire operation will be in vain because the air will continue to circulate with dirt and other polluted materials if the chamber's dirt is not removed.
